Where to find it
  • Service Tag (best): flip the laptop, the sticker on the base shows a 7-character code (e.g. ABC1234). It identifies your exact configuration.
  • In Windows: press Start, type System Information, "System Model" is your model. The Service Tag also appears in Dell's SupportAssist app or the BIOS (F2 at startup).
